- Sharon had been watching the entire thing from Break’s shadow
- Break thinks that he probably won’t make it through another year
- Break believes that Oz is the key to making the Intention of the Abyss stop interfering with their world
- "Where in the world are you?" and "What has warped you so?" are the two questions Break asks Oz
- Break also wonders who will last longer - himself or Oz
- Echo appears, leaving behind a bouquet and a letter, the later is hidden by Gil
- Oz’s father says that he should never have been born and even refuses to touch him
- Vincent has dispatched Echo to take care of the small boy. She notes that he cannot even hide his chain and tells Oz to stay out of the way or she will slash him down.
