Mikasa’s life doesn’t revolve around Eren— it revolves around what he represents to her. Family, goodness, the little warmth left from her life after going through a horrible, traumatizing ordeal and living in a cruel and terrible world.

Anyone who thinks she is simply like “Eren is mine and mine only we’re getting married and I’m going to be a creepy stalker to anyone who talks to you ever” has missed the point of her character and backstory completely.
