One of the things I really enjoy about this manga is that we’ve got these two lovers, right? And even though we know they’d move heaven and earth for each other, so is much of their ‘screen time’ spent being incredibly casual around each other. There’s not many lingering caresses or soft kisses, because there does not have to be. They’re a long term committed couple, that’re comfortable and secure in their relationship.
I don’t know about you, but I’d enjoy seeing more of these types of relationships in not only more shounen manga (even though it’s especially lacking there), but in the fantasy medium as a whole.
