i don’t know if anne hathaway and keira knightley playing vintage girlfriends in a period piece with a good soundtrack and pretty cinematography is what i need, but i feel like it’s what i deserve

the big question is:

does anne hathaway play the bright young servant girl who brightens the life of baroness keita knightly

or

is keira knightly the devilishly handsome scoundrel who steals away the sheltered lady anne hathaway

it would be a cinematic masterpiece if it were to combine both

The first act is the second plot, ending with Keira Knightly taken away to marry a baron and Anne Hathaway having lost all her wealth.

When the Baron dies Keira seeks out and hires Anne while hiding her identity for fear that Anne will hate her for having caused her fall into poverty.

Naturally they both fall in love all over again.
