This piece really got me thinking about how tragic the stories of Mikoto and Arete are when you think about them (most isn’t part of the main narrative).
They lose their home/family to a dragon god.They never see each other alive again after fleeing from their homeland, hence losing their old lovers but then losing their new lovers as well. And both have their children abducted…….Why does Fire Emblem make the lives of queens so hard???? T-T
